Usage

In just one minute, you can determine the water's total hardness, nitrates, nitrites, free chlorine, carbonate, and pH.

For total hardness, if the water is too hard, consider using soft water like distilled or reverse osmosis water.

If the hardness is too low, partially change the water with tap water that has a higher hardness.

Nitrate levels above 50 mg/L can be harmful to sensitive fish and promote algae growth.

Nitrite levels greater than 1 mg/L can be harmful over time.

Free chlorine in tap water is harmful to fish.

Carbonate levels should ideally be between 120-180 mg/L.

Most freshwater fish can tolerate a pH range of 6.5 to 8.5.

Other information

Do not put wet hands in the bottle.

Avoid touching or contaminating the test area with your hands.

After removing a strip, close the cover immediately.

For best results, read the test strips in natural daylight.

Store in a cool, dry place.
