Description

Planting Instructions:

1. Potting Mix: It is recommended to use a light, well-drained potting mix or seed-starting pellets for sowing and seedling emergence. Avoid yellowed, heavy, or compacted soils, as they hinder germination.

2. Temperature: At the time of sowing, the average daytime and nighttime temperature should be above 18°C (64°F); temperatures that are too low will slow down germination. After sowing, cover with plastic film to maintain temperature and humidity. Germination is generally faster between 21°C and 30°C (70°F and 86°F).

3. Promoting Germination: Soak the seeds in warm water (approximately 40°C/104°F) for 4 to 8 hours (allow the water to cool naturally; a constant temperature is not necessary). This can accelerate germination. Very small seeds do not need to be soaked.

4. Watering: The potting mix must be kept moist during germination.

5. Light: Before germination, place the seedlings in a bright location, but away from direct sunlight. After germination, ensure they receive sufficient light; otherwise, they risk becoming leggy.

6. Transplanting: Once the seedlings have at least six true leaves, transplant them into individual pots. Water thoroughly before transplanting, ensuring that the soil and roots are well-moistened. Water thoroughly again after transplanting.

7. Germination Time: Germination time is strongly influenced by factors such as temperature, humidity, soil properties, planting depth, and seed type.

The germination time varies depending on the seeds.

8. Large-scale outdoor sowing: For large-scale outdoor sowing, it is not necessary to soak the seeds. Simply loosen the soil to a depth of approximately 10 cm. The soil must be loose and friable to facilitate germination. Once the soil is prepared, sow by broadcasting or in rows. Then, water thoroughly.
