Product information

Description

🌱Since the seeds are very small, it is best to use the broadcast sowing method: mix the seeds with sand before sowing them, or mix the seeds from the packet with soil, then sow the mixture in a designated area of the garden.

🌱Thyme lawns are highly drought-resistant and require much less water than traditional lawns. While traditional lawns may turn yellow in the heat, thyme will not.

🌱Thyme prefers moist soil during germination; therefore, ensure that the soil does not dry out (water from the bottom and cover the pot with plastic wrap to retain moisture).

🌱**Planting Instructions:** Thyme is primarily propagated by sowing seeds, taking cuttings, and division.

🌱**Planting Instructions:**

1. Sow the seeds in a nursery bed in the spring (March to April). Since thyme seeds are very small, soil preparation must be extremely thorough.

2. Loosen and level the soil, then tamp it down lightly. After watering, sow the seeds and cover them with a thin layer of fine potting soil.

3. Construct a small arched tunnel covered with plastic wrap to maintain temperature and humidity. Seedlings generally germinate after 10 to 12 days; remove the plastic wrap once the temperature is suitable. While the seedlings are growing, ensure the soil remains moist and weed regularly. When the seedlings reach a height of 10 to 15 cm, transplant them directly into the garden, maintaining a spacing of 30 to 45 cm between rows and 25 to 30 cm between plants.

Water immediately after transplanting.

🌱**Plant Type:** Perennial. **Light Requirements for Germination:** Bright light. **Germination Time:** 21 to 30 days. **Maturation Time:** 60 days.

Thyme seeds are tiny black dots. These are grass seeds, but definitely not thyme. Annoying.
