Description

General description

The 14 pieces plant root box set includes three variants (Small, Medium, Large) designed for effective plant propagation using the air layering method. Made from high-quality PP plastic, these sturdy propagation trays are durable and reusable for years, ensuring a reliable solution for growing different sizes of plant roots.

Technical specifications

Material: High-quality PP plastic

Diameter of root balls: Small 5 cm, Medium 8 cm, Large 12 cm

Installation

Peel off the bark of the branch where roots are needed to a width of about 2-2.5 cm.

Place moist moss or garden soil in the growing root area of the plant.

Wrap the root area filled with moist moss or garden soil around the peeled bark.

Propagation results can typically be seen within 6-8 weeks after installation.

Usage

The plant root box is designed to grow roots directly on branches, allowing for faster reproduction of mature plants compared to traditional methods.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor trees, including roses, fruit trees, and hard-to-root varieties like magnolia and camellia.

Other information

Safety Lock: Features four caps and corner locks that interlock to secure the plant root ball.

Can use plastic ties to hold the trays in place if needed.

The air layering capsules are safe for the mother plant, as only a small branch is used for rooting, minimizing any impact on the plant.

Higher success rate compared to other propagation techniques.
