2-inch spring-loaded check valve for wastewater pumps

SILENT OPERATION: Our sump pump check valve features a spring-loaded flapper that dampens the water hammer noise produced by conventional check valves. This noise occurs when backed-up water violently strikes the flapper. This silent check valve ensures quiet operation of your sump pump. TRANSPARENT VALVE BODY: This check valve allows you to see the water flow. Thanks to its transparent body, it's easy to visually verify that the pumped liquid is circulating correctly, that the pipes are not blocked, and that the pump in the sump is functioning properly. CONTENTS: Our silent sump pump check valve comes with stainless steel hose clamps and Buna-N rubber fittings for quick installation. The clamps and fittings are compatible with 50mm (2") diameter pipes (Schedule 40). PREVENTS BACKFLOW: This check valve is designed to prevent pumped liquid from the discharge pipe from flowing back into the sump pit. A properly functioning check valve can extend the life of the pump by preventing the contents from being pumped twice.
