Böschungsmatten are used to secure newly created earth embankments and filled slopes. The coarse mesh fabric provides optimal support for plant roots and stabilizes the slope with the root system that develops over time. Additionally, the slope mat prevents soil erosion, for example, at lake or pond shores, allowing plants to take hold and enabling natural growth along the pond edge while offering perfect protection for the pond liner.
