General description

The Ridgid 238-P Powered Soil Pipe Cutter is designed for quick and easy cutting of cast iron soil pipe in tight spaces. It is capable of cutting up to 200mm (8in) soil pipe when powered by an impact driver with a minimum torque of 340Nm, or 100mm (4in) using the included ratchet. Weighing only 6.1kg, it is lightweight and easy to mount in challenging locations. Its compact design and low profile cutter wheels make it suitable for both overhead and below ground applications. The cutter allows for two-directional operation, enabling scoring of the pipe for a clean cut, and features a patent pending torque limiter to protect the tool from overloading.
