I used these strips to protect my motorcycle's side cases. I just installed them: they're easy to install, but you have to heat them thoroughly beforehand (with a hair dryer) to warm up the glue and, more importantly, make the strips more flexible. You also have to clean the supports thoroughly. For now, the tape is good, but I'm waiting to see how it will hold up over time... and after washing.
