Installation

• Open the cover plate and gently insert the prism with a soft cloth.

• Add a few drops of the solution to be measured onto the prism and close the cover plate.

• Point the light-inlet plate towards a light source and observe through the eyepiece.

• Adjust the eyepiece to make the blue-white dividing line clear.

Use

• For calibration, place a few drops of distilled water on the prism and adjust the zeroing screw.

• Wipe the prism after each use with a soft, clean cloth.

• Store the instrument in a dry, non-corrosive location.
