SIMPLE TO USE: No batteries or power supply required. Simply insert the probe into the soil about 3 to 5 inches deep, flip the switch to the Moisture, Light, or pH position, and then wait approximately 10 minutes for a more accurate and stable reading.

KINDLY REMINDER: This soil pH tester cannot be used directly to test the pH values of aqueous liquids, ONLY to test the pH level of the soil; Please do not use it to test strongly acidic and alkaline soil types as it may not work; the default pH value of this soil tester is set between 7 and 8 (because soil pH is often close to neutral).
