Böschungsmatten are used to secure newly created earth walls and embankments. The coarse mesh fabric provides optimal support for plant roots, which also stabilize the slope as their root systems develop over time. Additionally, the slope mat prevents soil erosion, particularly at lake or pond shores, allowing plants to take root and facilitating natural growth along the pond's edge while offering excellent protection for the pond liner.
