Before programming, please open the receiver from the garage door.

STEP:

1. Press the programming button. (On some receivers, you must hold down the programming button.)

2. The LED on the receiver indicates the start of programming mode.

3. Press a button on the new remote control for one second, then release.

4. The LED on the receiver will light up or turn off to indicate successful programming.

5. Wait a few seconds to exit programming mode. Programming is complete.

Why doesn't the indicator light up, or is it dim when you press the buttons on the illuminated remote control?

This could be due to a dead or low battery. If the indicator light does not light up even after replacing the battery, check that the button or the remote control is not damaged.
