  Programming the Remote Control

• 1. Materials needed for programming: Open the power outlet behind the garage door.
• 2. Press the programming button.
• 3. Some receivers require the programming button to be held down.
• 4. The LED on the receiver signals the start of programming mode.
• 5. Press and hold the new remote control for one second, then release it.
• 6. The LED on the receiver will light up or go out to indicate that programming is active.
• 7. Wait a few seconds to exit programming mode. Programming is complete.
