Struggle to cut through small logs

The chainsaw looks to be of reasonable quality, but it remains in it's box as there was no assembly instructions nor user manual with it. I have been in touch with the suppliers and they say they have sent me an email containing electronic instructions. No such email has been received by me. I have replied advising them of the situation but that was over a week ago and I have heard nothing more. I am not going to use this machine until I am happy that it is correctly assembled and I am aware of the oiling points and the type of oil I should use.
