🛡 Guarantee Conditions

The weed control fabric remains functional for more than 25 years—defined as retaining at least 50% residual tensile strength—provided it is covered with a mulch or gravel layer of at least 5 cm and is not exposed to direct sunlight.

Without cover and when exposed to direct sunlight, the functional life is 3 years, also defined as retaining at least 50% residual tensile strength.

No performance guarantee is provided for overlapping sections of the weed control fabric. The fabric does not prevent weed growth caused by airborne seeds, which may still germinate and grow on top of the fabric.

🛠 Installation Instructions (Short Version)

1. Prepare the ground: Remove weeds, stones and roots, then level the surface.
2. Unroll the fabric: Lay the weed control fabric over the prepared area.
3. Allow for overlap: Overlap adjoining sheets by at least 10 cm.
4. Secure: Fix with ground anchors or fixing pins (approx. 2 per linear metre).
5. Planting: Make cross-shaped cuts where plants are to be placed.
6. Cover: Cover with at least 5 cm of mulch, bark mulch or gravel to ensure maximum service life.
