Description
The latest version of the TMC2208 V1.2 takes the UART output and directly utilizes the UART function, eliminating the need for additional wiring. MicroPlyer interpolation is at 256 subdivisions, enabling perfect sinusoidal control at limited pulse frequencies and faster motor acceleration/deceleration. Compatible with most 3D printer motherboards on the market, it can replace TMC2100, A4988, DRV8825, and LV8729 stepper drivers. It features a two-phase stepper motor driver chip with a continuous driving current of 1.4A, a peak current of 2A, and a voltage range of 4.75V to 36V. CoolStep dynamic current adjustment technology saves 70% of energy; DCStep; stallGuard2 stall detection technology; and automatic standby current reduction.
