The rubber ring is tightly connected to the 1.25-inch hose to form a sealed space to prevent water leaks. Easy to install: Type A hose adapters are designed to connect 1.25-inch hoses to piston valves or a filter pump. The small end attaches to a 1.25-inch hose. The threaded end attaches to 1.5-inch piston valves or filter pumps; simply screw it on. No need to buy other sizes of hose, avoiding additional costs. Hose connection: Converts threaded hoses to clamp hoses and 1.5-inch and 1.25-inch hoses for Intex pool sets. Suitable for Intex chlorine generators and salt systems that use threaded hose fittings.
