First determine the gas density in the air, and then mount this detector near the gas source within 2.5m (Note: The density of coal gas and natural gas is lower than that of air and therefore at a higher level. The density of liquefied petroleum gas is lower than that of air and therefore at a lower level.)

Ensure that the power and signal cables are properly connected to the detector, turn on the power, and then the device will start up as follows:

1. Warm-up status. The red LED indicator flashes once and the speaker emits a sound.

2. Normal status. The green LED indicator flashes once every minute for about 3 minutes.

3. Monitoring status. The green LED indicator lights continuously.

To check if the detector is working properly, press the S1 button on the circuit board. If the red LED indicator lights up and the speaker emits a sound, it means the detector is working properly.

When the gas density reaches 6% LEL, the LED indicator lights red and flashes, and the speaker beeps (the alarm sound frequency depends on the gas density. The higher the density, the higher the frequency).

When the emergency situation is set, the detector can be restored to normal working condition. < /p>

Testing and Maintenance

Test methods: Continue filling the gas hole for at least 5 seconds with the detector turned off. In the monitoring state, a flashing and audible alarm will sound, which means the detector is functioning properly (you can perform this test using a gas lamp, for example).

This product has high environmental requirements. Please clean the detector regularly (e.g., remove dust, oil, moisture, etc.). The sensitivity largely depends on the cleanliness of the detection area.

Precautions:

Do not install this device outdoors or in humid locations.

Do not install this device near locations with very high air circulation, such as in rooms with high humidity. B. Ventilation areas, fans, or doors.

Do not install this device in locations isolated from the gas source.

Ensure there are not too many chemical liquids such as lamps, pesticides, ethanol, etc. near this detector.

In case of malfunction, check that the input and output lines are connected correctly. The warranty is void if this product is opened by the user.
