I bought it to work on the roof and it seems quite sturdy. It is declared to have a load capacity of at least 200 kg, but I wouldn't be so sure. The carabiners are good, but since they don't have any load capacity ratings and/or tear-off strength, I don't trust them. To be sure, I prefer to use the one that comes with my professional harness. To be on the safe side, I keep it taut by first measuring how far it reaches, so as to avoid excessive strain on the rope in the event of a fall. It's better not to subject it to excessive load stress. Finally, I doubled the knots tied to the carabiners (one after the other so that if the first one comes undone, the second one blocks it), and the heat-shrink tubing is useless; it lets the tail of the rope slide after the knot.
