The first question you should ask yourself may seem obvious: how long of a hose do you need? Our hose reels range from 10 to 40 meters. We advise choosing a reference of at least 20 meters. Some references can be oriented, allowing you to pull out the hose on one side or the other, depending on the part of the garden you're watering.
Next, consider whether you prefer a fixed or mobile model. If you have several areas to water, your choice should naturally lean towards a mobile model. It will allow you to move the hose to different water inputs and reach any area of your garden. Moreover, you can easily store it in a garage or a garden shed if you don’t want it cluttering your green spaces. Some are mounted on wheels while others are carried using a handle.
Conversely, if you wish to water a small yard or terrace and you don’t really have a place to store it, we recommend opting for a fixed reel. Your hose is still protected from the whims of the weather as it will be coiled inside a plastic "box" that only leaves the plastic lance protruding. Be sure to install it close to a water supply!
The hose coiling can be done in two different ways: manually or automatically. As their names suggest, manual reels work with a crank, while automatic reels will store the hose without any effort on your part. It all depends on your personal preferences.
