Product information

Description

Made of high-quality plastic housing, with a large display, durable and practical. For measuring the pH of pool water only, without conventional chemicals. Ideal for pH testing at home and in the lab, e.g., for drinking water, aquariums, swimming pools, tap water, hydroponics, hot tubs, and scientific experiments. As a highly precise measuring device, it delivers results quickly. A useful tool for measuring the pH and chlorine levels of water in pools and hot tubs for your health. Before use, please set the meter to the pool or hot tub water to be tested in the following order: 1. Test the pool or hot tub water using conventional liquid meters; 2. Record the chlorine level (1.5 ppm) as evidence; 3. pH adjustment is not required. How to find the meter's setting point: A. Insert a 1.5V AA battery (positive terminal facing up) into the battery compartment in the handle.

B. Hold the meter in one hand and the test strip in the other.

C. Immerse the cleaned metal strip in the water until it reaches the black mark.

D. Gently agitate the water with the metal strip.

E. With the metal strip in the water, turn the knob on the front of the meter clockwise (CL) until it stops turning. Then slowly turn it counterclockwise until the pointer indicates the reading from the liquid level meter (e.g., 1.5).

F. Carefully remove the test strip from the water without turning the knob.

The pointer will slide to the right and stop on a letter between A and E. This letter is the setting point.

Note: The meter must be set to the setting point before each chlorine measurement.

Measuring pH:

The recommended chlorine level for pool or spa water is between 7.2 and 7.8.

A) Leave the test stick in the water and turn the dial towards pH until a beep sounds (the battery must be removed to read the pH value).

B) Wait until the pointer stops and read the pH value.

C) Carefully dry the test stick, insert it into the slot next to the meter, and store it.

Measuring Chlorine:

The recommended chlorine level for pool or spa water is between 1.2 and 1.7 ppm.

A) Move the pointer to the "Setting Point" position. B) Hold the meter in one hand and the test strip in the other. Immerse the metal strip in the water until it reaches the black position. Wait until the pointer stops moving and read the value. C) Leave the test strip in the water and continue with the pH test according to the instructions. Specifications 1. Essential tool for pools, saunas, and spas 2. Ideal tool for easily measuring pH and chlorine (Cl₂) levels 3. Chemical-free, no more guesswork 4. Chlorine level within safe measuring range: 1.2 to 1.7 ppm 5. pH level within safe measuring range: 7.2–7.8 6. Battery: Use 1 AA battery

Storage Instructions:

To prolong the lifespan of the PC-101 pool tester and ensure accurate measurements, please observe the following:

1. When not in use, turn the dial to the off position (turn it in the pH direction until it stops turning).

2. Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

3. Do not immerse the probe in liquids other than pool water or thermal water.
