Description

Designed for sharpening circular, felling and gang saws with fine toothing and for use on bandsaws. Ideal for draw and fine filing, polishing and deburring, and commonly used in engineering for lathe work and general deburring. Type 138 features one rounded edge and Type 140 has two rounded edges. Millsaw cut, 250 mm (10 in), tanged.

Double-cut faces and single-cut edges for a balance of fast stock removal and fine finishing.

Slightly tapered in width and thickness to access angles and corners easily.

Suitable for general work on iron and steel.

Smooth cut — approx. 62 teeth per 25 mm for fine filing.

Second cut — approx. 36 teeth per 25 mm for medium removal.

Coarse cut: approx 26 teeth per 25 mm.

Blade length 250 mm (10 in) and tanged for secure handle fitting.
