The niche is created from a folded sheet metal to make the bottom and 2 opposite sides, then 2 additional sheets are welded on each side to make the last 2 sides. Except that the welds are not continuous, so the niche is not watertight! It's a shame when you buy it precisely to avoid any risk of leakage...
