I bought this to blow off dust from my power tools and other DIY projects. It's effective, lightweight, and performs well enough. No, it's not a Makita (though it's three times cheaper), and it's not as powerful as a compressor, but it's perfectly adequate for my needs. I can confirm that Makita 18V batteries fit perfectly. I had to spray a little silicone sealant in the blower's rail where the battery slides in, and now it goes in very easily (it took a little force). The vacuum function makes me chuckle; for me, it's not suitable despite the included small canvas bag. The debris sucked up goes right into the suction system (into the propeller!). Don't expect to effectively blow away fallen leaves outdoors with it, but for blowing away wood chips from the circular saw, filings after drilling, dust from power tools, etc., it works, and it's sufficient. No regrets, the device offers good value for money, was shipped quickly and well packaged.
