Description

General description

The Beaphar Gentle Leader Black is a scientifically designed headcollar that works with a dog's natural instincts to control unwanted behavior. Created by a leading veterinary surgeon and a former President of the National Association of Dog Trainers in the USA, this headcollar helps prevent dogs and puppies from pulling on the lead, making basic obedience training quick and easy.

Technical specifications

Color: Black

Size: Medium

Suitable breeds: Labrador, Cocker Spaniel, Springer Spaniel, German Shepherd, Boxer, Retriever, Dobermann, Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Usage

The Gentle Leader utilizes a unique Triple Action Patented Design to counteract the instinct to pull. It provides gentle pressure in three ways:

Pressure is applied to the back of the neck, stimulating a relaxation response similar to how a mother carries a puppy.

Gentle pressure around the muzzle of the nose loop encourages a relaxation response.

It functions like a halter on a horse, guiding the dog's body to follow the direction of the nose.

Additionally, the Gentle Leader can be easily converted into a regular collar for added flexibility.
