Description

General description

Smartseal black limestone sealer is a highly effective solvent-based sealer and re-colourant designed specifically for black limestone. It rejuvenates faded limestone patios, restoring their original appearance and making them look freshly laid. The sealer can be reapplied at any time to maintain the aesthetic of limestone slabs on patios or other external surfaces.

Technical specifications

Volume: 5 Litres

Average coverage: 4 - 5 m²/litre for the first coat (dependent on surface)

Average coverage: 6 - 8 m²/litre for the second coat

Application temperature: Above 12°C, with a maximum of 23°C

Recommended number of coats: Two

Installation

Clean the surface using a pressure washer and/or Patio Clean Xtreme.

Allow the surface to dry for a minimum of 72 hours.

Apply the sealer using a roller.

Always apply to a test area first to determine suitability.

Usage

For best results, if a sweep-in jointing compound was used when the slabs were laid, it is recommended to use a residue remover prior to application. A sample size (150 ml) is available for purchase to test the product before committing to the full 5 Litres.
