General description

Smartseal Block Magic is a premium blend of liquid pigments and acrylic resins designed to rejuvenate and protect block paving driveways and patios. This product effectively restores the color lost due to sun exposure, rain, vehicles, and pressure washing, making your paving look like new. It is suitable for application on old block paving, although two coats may be necessary for a uniform finish on poorly conditioned surfaces. Please note that Block Magic should not be used on clay pavers or in combination with polyurethane products.

Installation

Before applying Block Magic, ensure the paving is pressure washed to remove all debris and contaminants. The surface should be left to dry for 5 clear and dry days. For optimal results, follow these guidelines:

Usage

To maintain the original sand color: Apply one coat of Block Magic with a roller, allow it to dry for 3 hours, then re-sand with kiln-dried sand and apply a clear sealer.

To change the sand color: Apply two coats of Block Magic with a roller, allowing 2 hours between each coat. Ensure no rainfall is forecast for at least 8 hours after application.

For best results, ensure the area is free from weeds and moss before application, using appropriate treatments if necessary.

Other information

Smartseal Block Paving sealer has been tested by the TRL (Transport Research Laboratory) and meets the SRV (Skid Resistance Value) for local authority pedestrian areas.

Health & Safety: Flammable liquid; keep the application area well ventilated and wear appropriate protective gear (respirator, gloves, goggles).
