Description

General description

Smartseal Block Magic is a premium blend of liquid pigments and acrylic resins designed to rejuvenate and protect block paving driveways and patios. This product effectively restores the color lost due to sun exposure, rain, vehicles, and pressure washing, ensuring your paving looks like new. It is important to note that old or poorly conditioned pavers may require two coats for a uniform finish. Block Magic is not suitable for clay pavers or for use in combination with polyurethane products.

Volume: 5 Litres

Coverage: Approximately 3 m²/litre (around 2.5 m²/litre on old pavers)

Application method: Roller

Drying time: 3 hours before re-sanding; tack-free within 2 hours at 20°C

Foot traffic permissible after 4 hours; vehicles should be kept off for a minimum of 24 hours at 20°C

Temperature range for application: 12°C to 23°C

Installation

Pressure wash the paving to remove all surface debris and muck from joints.

Leave the paving to dry for 5 clear and dry days.

For changing the sand color, re-sand the surface area with kiln-dried sand before applying two coats of Block Magic, allowing 2 hours between coats.

Ensure no rainfall is forecast for at least 8 hours after application.

Usage

Apply one coat of Block Magic using a roller.

If changing the sand color, apply two coats and ensure the first coat has dried evenly before applying the second.

After applying the sealer, expect 3-5 years of protection, depending on traffic, weather, and maintenance.

Other information

Flammable liquid; keep application area well ventilated.

Wear a respirator, gloves, and goggles during application.

Store in a cool place; flash point 40°C (Abel-Closed Cup).
