General description

The Bosch GKS 18V-57-2 GX Professional Circular Saw is designed for precision, making accurate angled cuts in all cutting positions. It is compatible with guiderails, making it ideal for cutting wooden or wood composite materials in various applications such as beams, window frames, flooring, ceiling trims, and wall framing. The saw can also cut insulation to size and features a flexible saw blade design for near-wall cutting, along with an LED light that illuminates the cutting line.

Hello. Although heavier and perhaps more bulky than the Mafell KSS, the Bosch is great. With batteries, there's no need to haul bulky and heavy extension cords/reel cords. On the other hand, for the moment I only have 4A batteries, and it's perhaps a bit tight, but I've only cut framing and OSB. With 5A or 8A batteries, it's certainly heavier, but it should be more powerful. The two little extras: the housing pusher and the depth adjustment.
