These standard-compliant tools are insulated with Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPU). They have been tested up to 10,000 volts and VDE-certified up to 1,000 volts according to DIN EN/IEC 60900. You will find the VDE pliers convenient to handle and easy to use, even with one hand. They grasp and cut well, and last a long time. The wire stripper has a knurled screw and lock nut allowing simple and stepless adjustment to wire or strand diameters up to 10 mm. All pliers in the set are made of robust chrome vanadium steel and the combination pliers, diagonal side cutter, and long nose pliers also have hardened cutting edges.
