The drill driver´s brushless motor ensures an extensive tool lifetime and longer battery runtimes. It is suitable for drilling and impact drilling in wood (up to 35 mm), steel (up to 13 mm), and masonry (up to 10 mm) as well as for screw diameters of up to 10 mm. It is compatible with all Bosch Professional 18 V batteries, including ProCORE18V batteries and chargers (Professional 18V System). Also compatible with AMPShare, the multi-brand battery alliance.
The GSB 18V-55 Professional also features 2-gear, Autolock, Electronic Cell Protection, Electronic Motor Protection, LED light, Li-ion, metal chuck, metal gears, and right-left-rotation.

User of the domestic model (green) for many years, I finally took the green step the Pro. The comparison is final apart from the similar weight. A chuck that goes up to 13 (instead of 10). Much easier and more efficient tightening. The trigger is more sensitive. The most powerful drill. Super happy with this purchase.
