Description
Features:
For Slotting
Expert for Wood Slotting Cutter for a long lifetime in delivering splinter-free cuts in slot-cutting
Cylindrical shank compatible with routers
Cleanteq coating keeps the blade cool by reducing the adhesion of residues and protects the bit body from corrosion
High pressure and heat-hardened body for ideal performance precision and longevity
Ideal for slotting grooves in narrow edges and decorative slots. Kickbacks prevented by limiting chip-thickness
The Expert for Wood Slotting Cutter offers a long lifetime of everyday use in delivering splinter-free cuts in slot-cutting. The slotting cutter is in-house manufactured using unique Microteq carbide for high durability and performance in wooden applications. Furthermore, it features a Cleanteq coating that keeps the blade cool by reducing the adhesion of glue and resin residues, as well as protecting the bit body from corrosion. Its body is hardened through high pressure and heat to maximise its performance precision and longevity. It is intended for routing slots in narrow edges as well as decorative slots. The Expert for Wood Slotting Cutter with 4-mm thickness is also excellent for inserting biscuit dowels. It can be used in soft and hard solid wood as well as in wood composites and special materials like solid surface.
It is suitable for use with handheld-routers and table-mounted portable routers.
Slotting cutter design prevents kickbacks by limiting the thickness of the generated chips.

Router buying guide
Used for a range of wookworking applications, routers are great for building furniture or adding finishing touches to a piece. The only limit with this tool is the quality of your cutter – and your imagination! Read on to find out why the router is the right tool for you!
In 1886, Robert Bosch, a 25-year-old German engineer, founded an electrical engineering company in Stuttgart. He was returning from a long professional trip to the United States that had led him to work for Thomas Edison, one of the greatest engineers in history. Bosch improved the ignition magnet the following year, to be the first to adapt it to a car engine. This innovation allowed him to develop his business at a steady pace. In the 1920s, he converted his company from automotive supplier to electronics manufacturer. The company has been able to distinguish itself from other brands of DIY power tools by aiming for long-term and high-end, from its famous green drill to complex products such as rippers or garden tools (sculpts -hays, chainsaws ...). This was the success we know. Bosch currently employs 280,000 people worldwide and generates 46 billion euros in sales. Bosch spends up to 10% of its turnover on R & D, a rare effort in the industry. 92% of the capital of Robert Bosch GmbH is held by a charitable foundation Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH. Thus the profits of the company are donated to this foundation. The remaining 8% of capital is held by the descendants of Robert Bosch's family.
