Indeed this detector detects but sometimes wrongly. It detects live electrical wires very well. On the other hand, it sometimes rings in places where there is no metal. I did the experiment on alveolar partitions. The polls showed me that there was nothing. Otherwise it gives a general idea and places where you can find cables.
