General description

Everflex 125 One Hour Caulk is a fast-drying, flexible sealant designed for decorating and sealing applications. It remains permanently flexible and can be overpainted with most paints or covered with wallpaper without the need for sanding. This product is ideal for filling cracks and gaps before decorating in interior settings.

Compatibility and accessories

Compatible with most paints and wallpapers

Suitable for sealing around skirting boards, ceiling cornices, window and door frames, stair treads, and fixtures adjoining walls

Installation

Cut the tip of the cartridge at an angle of 45° with an opening slightly larger than the gap to be sealed

Apply using a standard sealant gun, maintaining even pressure and a consistent angle

Smooth the sealant within 20 minutes of application using a wetted spatula, piece of wood, or finger

Remove excess with a sponge and warm water

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and dust-free before application; porous surfaces like new plaster should be primed

Usage

Apply to cracks and gaps prior to decorating

Can be used around skirting boards, window and door frames, and other fixtures

Allow to cure and form a surface skin before overpainting

Other information

Not suitable for use with bitumen or asphalt

Do not attempt to abrade once cured

Can be applied to slightly damp surfaces

Flexible product; avoid applying with poor-quality paints that may crack if excessive movement occurs
