HV200 is a safe descaler specifically designed for use in indirect heating systems. Usage

Half a litre is usually sufficient for a badly scaled heat exchanger, typically taking up to 30 minutes for completion.

I have only just used the products, waiting for a nice day. I added the descaler to my system and let it circulate for 2 hrs. Then drained and flushed the whole system. Refilled and added the inhibitor. Once all the rads were air free I restarted the boiler and let it run for 30 mins. When it fired up I was amazed at how quiet the boiler was and how hot the rads got. Will definitely, use again.
