(If your head unit is an older version, the function will not work normally or cannot be opened. You must update your head unit to the latest version online. It also does not support AMG cars.) Instructions:
1. Turn the ignition to ACC (do not start the engine).
2. Connect this OBD tool to the car's OBD diagnostic port. (Position: under the steering wheel, near the A-pillar)
3. Your car's screen will display DIAG and wait for a restart.
4. Your car's head unit will restart and enter the menu after 10 seconds.
5. Disconnect the OBD tool and connect your phone. Follow the instructions to confirm! Function activated and working perfectly!
Important Notice:
1. You must ensure that the Siri option on your phone remains enabled.
2. You must use your mobile phone's original charging cable.
3. CarPlay is an application for the iOS system; only iOS phones can use the CarPlay application. (IP5 or higher are supported)
4. For Android phones, you can use the Android Auto application. (But not all Android phones support Android Auto)
