Product information
Description
The carbon brush is made of a hard, wear-resistant carbon material. Block graphite serves as the raw material. It is an important component of electric motors and power tools and is used in angle grinders, rotary hammers, cut-off saws, circular saws, generators, axles, etc. The carbon brush ensures smooth material removal, and the copper wire is firmly attached and does not come loose easily. It is characterized by high wear resistance, good reversibility, good conductivity, thermal conductivity, and lubricity, as well as a certain degree of mechanical strength and a long service life. The carbon brush serves as a sliding contact to the current conductor on the commutator or slip ring of the motor. It is attached to the metal holder and pressed onto the shaft by a spring. Note: If you replace the carbon brush with a new one and find that it is worn or partially worn after only a few minutes or hours of use, this indicates an abnormal operating condition of the shaft rotor. In this case, you should replace the shaft rotor immediately.
