I took 3 1 living room and 2 for bedrooms The 1st one took 1 hour to install it, the other 2 between 20 and 30 minutes each Very beautiful and ideal for rooms under 20m. We still hear a slight engine noise in position 1 which personally does not prevent me from sleeping

a slight whistle from the engine which can become annoying at night.

The brass ceiling fan is great. I didn’t personally set it up, our decorator did so I can’t say how easy it is to set up. Please be aware that you will need to buy small bulbs to fit in space for bulbs. For the price, I don’t think you can expect much more. It has a good balance between looking great and working well. It’s a good size, not too big, not too small, and you can really feel the breeze when it’s on. My only problems with this: 1. The housing cover for the light bulbs is a frosted plastic. It feels quite cheap. Would have preferred a frosted glass. (This is probably reflected in the price) 2. In our set up, there is a delay between the light turning on and when I press the switch. There is also an audible clicking sound when the light is turned on. You get used to it but it really isn’t nice. However, when using the remote, the light switching on is instantaneous. 3. When switching from low power to medium or high (or vice versa) the fan temporarily turns off and then on again to your desired setting. It’s a small ‘issue’ but something you probably wouldn’t get in a higher end product. Again, with any change you make with the remote, you have the audible click and a 2 second wait. If I were to purchase another fan, I would save up and buy one double the price which has these details ironed out. Having said this, £200+ on a fan is almost unjustifiable. Overall though, I’m still happy with the product.
