Description

General description

The Chicken Pod is a well-designed poultry house constructed from tongue and grooved wooden boards on a durable softwood frame. It features a softwood tanalised feather edge board for enhanced longevity. The unit is equipped with substantial wheels and handles for easy manoeuvrability, making it convenient to relocate. An attached ramp allows poultry to access the house, which also serves as a door that can be locked to prevent predators like foxes from entering at night. The Chicken Pod includes a block of two laying boxes with a hinged drop-down external door for easy egg removal, and the entire egg-laying box can be lifted out for cleaning access to the main house. Additionally, it comes with a single removable perch and is available untreated or treated in Forget Me Not Blue or Seagrass Green from the Cuprinol Garden Colours range.
