The dimensions were correct for my shower rail. However it only grips the rail near the top. This suggests some variation in my rail dimensions. However an after market replacement part should have more variation in it. As it does have some variability then it just needed a bit more to be perfect. However, as the original manufacturer of my rail no longer makes it or supplies spare parts then this inexpensive part is a reasonable fix.

It works, but it is a bit flimsy, and the diameter of the actual shower head holder seems to be smaller than any showerhead locker I can find. If you really ram it in then you can, but it takes some effort.
