In the doc we should insist much more on the correct length of the flat rod which actuates the bolt. If this rod is too long, it rubs against the handle on the inside and the bolt has great difficulty in coming back (under the pressure of its spring) to enter the hole in the strike. It is then imperative to cut part of this rod to avoid this friction. The bolt then returns easily under the pressure of its spring. In addition I would have liked to have an explanation on the role of the small round rod which accompanies the bolt and which has its own independent horizontal movement.

I only put 4 stars because: - the lock square is a thin flat rod whose lifespan will probably be shorter than a standard square? - To change the code, you have to dismantle the whole system, that's really a problem for my tenants. - The number of codes is therefore more easily violated (because one / 13 of a number or letter is activated / deactivated) which is not at all the same proba as choosing 4 random ordered numbers. - There is no deactivation delay following x incorrect codes. On the other hand, the advantage is that it is mechanical, so no batteries or electricity. And it must be said, it's reliable and it works perfectly well.
