A handy choice for tidy garden boundaries, it shapes privet, box and laurel without extension leads. Because the blade wraps around the guide bar, the trimmer reaches into the top of a hedge without you leaning over the edge. A guard keeps clippings from flying toward your face while you work along a boundary.

Cleaning is simple: brush the blades, oil them lightly and remove the battery before storing. Its Orange shell is easy to find among green foliage, which saves time when you set it down mid-job. The battery charges from a standard socket, so no outdoor power point is needed.

A practical and durable trimmer for the regular gardener.
