To be honest, I love the corona furniture and purchased the Merchant Chest to match my other pieces. I had not read the details properly and thought I was buying a ready assembled chest. However, I decided to build it myself but then discovered it needs 2 people to do it. At 75 yrs young I will now wait for my son to visit and help me with it. All the new contents are in red bags waiting to be put in the drawers so I suppose a longer wait won't do them any harm. My room will be complete and as I want it to look. Thank you for the unit but I will read the blurb more carefully next time.

Once I had a product in acceptable condition it was relatively straightforward to build. Once again, there is very variable wood quality. Some of the points that you have to screw into are the site of knots resulting in a dubious fixing and cracking.
