The plastic fittings are a bit of a pain to get in, but the rest is simple. It did come with a split down one panel, but I sorted it with some wood glue. I love how it looks and how solid it is. I'll be getting the full range for my living room and the kids want it too! I love that it's solid wood without the usual huge price tag!
