Definitely a two man job to assemble, we bought 2, the first one with one person took around 3 hours, the 2nd one with 2 people took just over an hour. Wood was marked in places but on the inside so did not worry us too much. These are small wardrobes but ideal for the space we wanted them for and storage is adequate. They look good once assembled and they go perfect with our decor
