General description The DC-DC Step-Down Converter LM2596 is a versatile buck converter module designed to efficiently reduce voltage from a higher input to a lower output. It features an adjustable output voltage range and is suitable for various electronic projects. Technical specifications Input Voltage Range: DC 3.2V to 40V (must be 1.5V higher than output voltage) Output Voltage Range: DC 1.25V to 35V (continuously adjustable) Maximum Efficiency: 92% Maximum Output Current: 3A PCB Thickness: 36u Usage Connect to the power source. Adjust the swirl knob on the blue potentiometer to set the desired output voltage. Monitor the voltage with a multimeter; clockwise to increase voltage, counterclockwise to decrease voltage. Note: The factory default is set to a high voltage; counterrotate about 7-8 circles to start decreasing the voltage (1 circle equals +/- 1V). Other information This is a buck module; it cannot boost voltage. The input and output interfaces cannot be reversed. The input voltage must always be higher than the output voltage.
