Derry Bold - Chrome Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Lockshield Angled 8mm

Control radiator warmth with greater precision

Bring more control to one radiator with this Derry Bold thermostatic valve set in polished & un-lacquered Chrome. Supplied with a matching lockshield, the angled valve uses a liquid sensor and multi-temperature control to regulate hot-water flow as the room warms and cools.

Why choose these radiator valves?

• Fine-tune warmth one radiator at a time: Instead of leaving the radiator fully open, the TRV adjusts the flow of hot water as the surrounding room temperature changes.
• Make more efficient use of your central heating: By reducing hot-water flow when the room is warm enough, the valve can help limit unnecessary heating in that space.
• Keep a layer of frost protection in reserve: Its frost-protection function can allow some flow at very low temperatures, helping reduce the risk of water freezing in the radiator and nearby pipework.
• Get the complete valve pair in one purchase: Both the thermostatic side and matching lockshield are included, simplifying the parts you need to source for the radiator.
• Choose a valve body that suits your pipe route: Where pipework approaches a side-entry radiator from the floor, an angled valve provides the change in direction needed at the connection.
• Move beyond simple on-or-off radiator control: Several thermostatic settings give you more flexibility than a simple manual on/off valve.
• Benefit from automatic response to changing room temperature: The liquid sensing element changes with room temperature and drives the valve's automatic thermostatic response.
• Give the radiator a more considered finishing detail: The contemporary body shape is designed to complement modern radiators without adding unnecessary visual bulk. The Chrome colour with a polished & un-lacquered finish gives the visible valve set a considered decorative appearance.
• Choose with added confidence beyond installation: The included 3 years guarantee adds confidence when choosing a valve set for ongoing everyday use.
