Derry Traditional - Black Nickel Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Lockshield Angled 10mm

Room-by-room comfort with thermostatic radiator control

This traditional Derry Traditional TRV set pairs a thermostatic radiator valve with a matching lockshield, helping you manage the warmth of an individual room without relying only on the main heating controls. The angled body connects to 10mm pipework, while the wax sensor responds automatically to changes in room temperature.

Why choose these radiator valves?

• Set each room's warmth more independently: The thermostatic head responds to room temperature and regulates hot-water flow through that radiator as the selected comfort level is reached.
• Avoid heating a room more than you need: Automatic flow reduction helps avoid continuing to heat an individual room at full radiator output after it has reached the chosen comfort level.
• Give the heating system extra protection from freezing conditions: The frost setting provides a safeguard for very cold conditions by allowing the valve to open slightly when temperatures fall sufficiently low.
• Simplify the purchase with both valves supplied: Supplying a matching lockshield alongside the TRV means both visible valve positions can be completed as one coordinated set.
• Plan the radiator connection with the right valve shape: Where pipework approaches a side-entry radiator from the floor, an angled valve provides the change in direction needed at the connection.
• Tailor radiator output to the room's needs: Multi-temperature adjustment lets the radiator be set to a more appropriate comfort level for the room.
• Let the valve respond automatically to room temperature: The wax sensor changes with the surrounding temperature, driving the valve's automatic thermostatic response.
• Coordinate the valves with the radiator: The classic valve profile adds a decorative finishing touch that works naturally with traditional radiator styles. Its polished & lacquered Black Nickel surface lets the valves become part of the radiator's overall finish rather than an afterthought.
• Add longer-term confidence to the purchase: A 3 years guarantee gives you longer-term reassurance beyond the initial installation.
