Derry Traditional - Black Nickel Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Lockshield Angled 8mm

Smarter room comfort from a thermostatic valve set

Bring more control to one radiator with this Derry Traditional thermostatic valve set in polished & lacquered Black Nickel. Supplied with a matching lockshield, the angled valve uses a wax sensor and multi-temperature control to regulate hot-water flow as the room warms and cools.

Why choose these radiator valves?

• Give each room its own level of heating control: The valve automatically alters hot-water flow through the individual radiator in response to the room temperature and selected setting.
• Use less unnecessary heat in rooms that are already warm: Automatic flow reduction helps avoid continuing to heat an individual room at full radiator output after it has reached the chosen comfort level.
• Help protect the radiator when temperatures fall: The frost setting provides a safeguard for very cold conditions by allowing the valve to open slightly when temperatures fall sufficiently low.
• Finish both sides of the radiator with one set: A matching lockshield is supplied with the thermostatic valve, so the corresponding valve does not need to be bought separately.
• Use a fitting designed around your pipe direction: Angled valves suit common layouts where pipework rises from the floor to meet a side-entry radiator connection.
• Set the radiator to a more suitable comfort level: The multi-temperature head lets you select different heating levels to suit how much warmth the room needs.
• Let the valve respond automatically to room temperature: The wax sensor expands and contracts as surrounding temperature changes, operating the thermostatic mechanism automatically.
• Make the valve set part of the radiator's overall look: A traditional silhouette gives the valve set more visual character than a purely functional modern fitting. The Black Nickel colour with a polished & lacquered finish gives the visible valve set a considered decorative appearance.
• Buy with longer-term reassurance: With a 3 years guarantee, the set comes with added reassurance for the years after installation.
