The grinder features a compact gear case for better access to tight spaces and excellent cutting depth. It has a slide switch to reduce user fatigue and a built-in no-volt release for protection against accidental startups. The electronic brake helps minimize accidental contact and injury, while the Constant Clutch and E-Clutch protect against kickbacks, cuts, and wheel bursts. Mesh covers restrict dust from entering the motor, and the ergonomic slim body with rubber over-mould improves comfort and control.

Published on 23/07/2021, United KingdomI bought the bare grinder in a T-Stak case as I already have 2x 5Ah and 2x 2Ah batteries and 2x chargers. My old Bosch corded grinder of 20+ yrs had died and I was in the middle of a Velux installation with the required roof tiling. Having a cordless grinder was attractive, so I bought the DeWalt. It didn't disappoint! Even fitted with the lighter 2Ah battery, it lasted all day for cutting cement fibre tiles, which are admittedly only 3-4mm thick. I didn't have to cut the thicker ridge tiles. Needing 125mm discs is a little bonus. It's lighter than my old Bosch and not having the cord is fantastic & a lot safer when you're on the roof! A great tool.
